Up Close and Personal at the V&A Dundee

Members are grabbing the chance to get up close and personal with the fabulous V&A Dundee, the venue for our March 2019 meeting: a day of digital media and online engagement, with Chocolate Films @chocolatefilms presenting how they create engaging content through use of storytelling and video techniques to bring an idea to life. The day will also include a fun hands-on stop-motion animation workshop.

Friday Was Ace

Our December meeting and Awards presentation on Friday 7th December was a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable event, at the National Museums of Scotland. We’re very grateful to our principal sponsor, Canon UK for helping to make it possible, and to VPP, Inglis & Mackay, Cass Art, Greyfriars Art, G F Smith and Streamline Corporate for their generosity in the prizes they donated. Pictured are the Award-winners: Simon Goundry (Best Campaign, Best Illustration), Gail McMillan (Best Design for Print, Best Design for 3D) Dylan Glynn (Best Design for Digital) and Liz Reid (Best Personal Project) and Alan Inglis (Best Photography, not pictured as Alan was taking the photos!), receiving their Awards from our speaker, Andy Frith, Lecturer in Graphics at Northumbria University.
